HOW TO SEND IN BREAST MILK:
We ask that 1 oz of breastmilk is either dropped off at the address below or mailed to us after an order is placed online. We ask that it is DOUBLE BAGGED in milk storage bags, labeled with your first and last name (as appears on the online order). The milk bags can go in a padded envelope mailer and be be sent to:

The sooner you send in your breastmilk, the sooner your jewelry product can be completed. Please email us at solidwerks.jewelry@gmail.com as soon as you mail your breast milk so we know to be on the look out for it.
If your breastmilk is frozen, we ask that you remove about 1 oz from the bag and thaw it before sending it in. We can also use milk that has gone bad, in other words you can't feed it to your baby anymore (It was in the fridge or freezer for too long and you would otherwise throw it out if not used for a bath, a baby balm etc), as long as it does not have any mold growing in it.
We will not return any extra milk that is sent in. We request 1 oz of milk to make sure we have enough to work with as it will make several stones for you to pick from for the jewelry piece. Any extra stones not used in the piece will be given to the customer along with the finished jewelry piece to use incase anything happens to the original stone in the jewelry.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REQUESTING & SENDING IN ADD ONS:
All "Add Ons" will be sent in by the customer alongside their breast milk except for Gold Leaf which is provided by SolidWerks. Any extra add ons not used in finished jewelry will be returned to customer along with the finished product.
Please be very specific in the "
Lock of Hair: Please send in about 1" of hair and make sure it's neatly tied on one end. Put inside zip lock baggy with your name on it (as it appears on the online order) and include in breast milk shipment.
Pregnancy Test Cap: Please only send in the cap, not the entire test. Wash thoroughly before putting it inside a ziplock bag with your name on it (as it appears on the online order). Include this inside the shipment of breast milk. SolidWerks will be responsible for smashing it to get tiny pieces for the finished product. Keep in mind you may or may not be able to place the original cap back on the test when returned.

PRODUCT INFO:
This ring is made from Sterling Silver or 14/20 Gold-Filled material
925 sterling silver jewelry consists of 92.5 percent pure silver and the rest is a copper alloy. Avoid water when wearing as this may tarnish and discolor sterling silver.
Gold-filled metal is constructed in two or three layers. The core metal is jewelers’ brass, and then the gold is bonded to the surface of the brass core with heat and pressure. Unlike gold plated metals, gold-filled metal is legally required to contain 5% or 1/20 of 14k gold by weight.
Breast Milk Stone
Set in this ring is a hand made one of a kind breast milk stone made from the customers breast milk. Breast milk jewelry is created by preserving liquid breast milk into a powder form, mixing with resin to create a stone which is then set into a piece of jewelry and worn as a keepsake.
Breast Milk Jewelry Care
For best long term care, we recommend avoiding water while wearing a breast milk ring. We personally have never had issues while wearing it to wash our hands, but we have not been able to conduct an experiment to analyze the long term effects of being in water. We also recommend removing the ring before applying lotion to avoid the build up of dirt and grime on the ring.
The best way to clean the breast milk stone is to wipe it with a soft & dry cloth. To clean the rest of the ring, we recommend using some dish soap on a tooth brush and scrub all around the ring, doing your best to avoid the breast milk stone. Then quickly rinse the ring under water (avoid the breast milk stone if possible) and wipe dry with a soft cloth.
