Our Story

                Hello and welcome to SolidWerks! I'm Justina, the artist, owner, creator, and visionary behind this jewelry brand. I believe the purpose of making beautiful simple and timeless jewelry is to symbolize and renew our understanding of the precious natural beauty and value of the earth, its resources, and most importantly human beings. I enjoy making jewelry for the normal every day experiences as well as custom engagement rings and wedding bands.

      I started making jewelry in 2010 out of found objects like bottle caps and scrabble pieces. A few friends wanted some pieces I was creating so I started selling them in the hallways in high school. When I was a little older, I took a jewelry and metals class and learned the metal smith trade and fell in love with what I was learning that I went on to take another class during my freshman year in collage. It was then that more and more people started asking me to make jewelry for them. It was also around then that I got my first wedding band order from some close friends which thus lead to the launch of my Etsy shop in 2015. I then switched my online shop to Shopify in 2019 and we've been here ever since! It's been a joy working with my hands to create minimalist pieces and working with my clients to make their custom ideas come to life!

      Besides being a business owner, I'm a full time mom to an energetic and full of life two and a half year old as well as a wife to my musically talented & word wizard husband & life partner. Together the three of us have faced some trials over the last few years but have found a lot of peace and strength through our Creator. It's through our trials that we are inspired to share the beauty we create with others even more! We love adventures outdoors, creative projects, yard work, long summer nights, campfires, walking downtown from our house in Lancaster City and hosting people at our home.
