Product Description

The Concave Ring is made out of 16 gage wire with an attached 6.5mm disc. Available in 14/20 gold-filled or pure 14k yellow gold.

What Does 14/20 Gold-Filled Mean?

Gold-filled metal is constructed in two or three layers. The core metal is jewelers’ brass, and then the gold is bonded to the surface of the brass core with heat and pressure. Unlike gold plated metals, gold-filled metal is legally required to contain 5% or 1/20 of 14k gold by weight.

Cleaning Instructions

Unlike pure gold metal, gold-filled will tarnish over time. It is important to take this jewelry off when bathing or swimming to maintain its highest quality. The safest way to clean this jewelry is with a soft bristle toothbrush. Scrub lightly using warm water and dish soap. You may also softly rub your jewelry with the cleaning cloth provided in your package. It is important not to do this too much or too often, as you'll risk removing the gold over time.

What Is Pure 14k Gold?

14k gold is one of the only precious metals that won't tarnish or oxidize over time; however, like any other metal, it will still loose its glamor if it is not properly cared for.

Cleaning Instructions

The best way to clean your gold jewelry is with our Botanical Jewelry Cleaner found on our shop. Simply put a little of this solution on the cloth provided and rub your jewelry with it.

*Our 14k gold is made from recycled materials. All materials used to make this item are made in the USA.*
